  • My approach to therapy is holistic, individual, and tailored to your needs. We will work together in order to utilize your own strengths and empower you to feel like you are the one in control of making better decisions in your life and ultimately feel more positively about yourself.

I also have been where you are and know what it’s like to feel insecure and struggle with anxiety, overthinking, and self doubt. I used to have an unhealthy relationship with food and my body. However, I won't make our work about my experience, only as a useful place to help understand what you might be going through. I believe therapy should be empowering, authentic, healing, and safe.

  • At this time I do not offer in-person therapy sessions. All sessions are currently offered online through a secure HIPPA platform. Right now I am able to accommodate online therapy to residents located in the states of New Jersey and New York.

  • Online therapy is convenient, easily accessible from multiple locations, and able to accommodate many flexible scheduling possibilities. All you need is 100% privacy and a secure internet connection.

  • My first session with each client will be what is called an "intake appointment" or and "initial evaluation session". This usually takes up to an hour and is an informal way of us getting to know one another. I will ask you what you want to work on in therapy and some details about your family history and background. Clients share what they feel is most relevant to our work together.

All other therapy appointments traditionally last 45 min to one hour.

  • Everyones time and length in therapy varies. However, the goal of therapy is to make progress and for it to be effective. I prefer to start clients on a weekly basis in order to establish a good working relationship and get to know one another better. Then we usually evaluate progress together along the way and determine cadence of sessions as we go. Some clients remain as weekly clients and others transition to bi-weekly (every other week) depending on each individual's need.

  • Fees are the following:

    • For an initial evaluation session: $200

    • For a regular 60 min. session: $175

    • For a regular 45 min. session: $150

  • As of January 1, 2022, a new Federal law was passed called the "No Surprises Act" in which you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit this link https://www.cms.gov/ or call 1-800-985-3059.

*All private cash pay clients will receive an individual Good Faith Estimate prior to their appointment after an agreed upon rate
